WebbUnused RAM is wasted RAM. Today, Windows uses more RAM than before. it is not unusual to see 80-90% RAM utilisation. At 12GB, that's expected. With 8GB, with normal office usage (browser + outlook + word/excel), 80-90% is the norm, so the 40-50% you're seeing sounds normal too. And yes, what you can add up won't match the total on top.
